Beth Friedberg, LCSW
Beth Friedberg (LCSW) is a Columbia University trained licensed clinical social worker who is committed to helping families connect and thrive. Before working in private practice, Beth developed an expertise in adoption and attachment-focused family interventions while working for over two decades at Spence-Chapin Services to Families and Children as a therapist, parent educator, and program director. In addition to specializing in adoption and family building, Beth provides parent coaching and therapy for children and adults to foster insight and develop strategies to address anxiety, behavioral issues, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and grief and loss.
Beth’s therapeutic approach draws upon a combination of psychodynamic, behavioral, and attachment-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, dyadic developmental psychotherapy, and mindfulness. She is a collaborative, open, and creative therapist who strives to foster a judgment-free space to identify challenges and move toward positive change.
